Helping Lake Willoughby Families Build Lifelong Water Safety Skills​
Teach America To Swim Kids' Swim School is excited to announce our new partnership with the Town of Westmore and the Westmore Association in bringing swim lessons to Lake Willoughby's North Beach! 

Thanks to the support of the Town of Westmore and the Westmore Association, we will be offering swim lessons to Westmore families, property owners, and Association members at a reduced rate! The Lake Willoughby Summer Swim Program is also open to swimmers from surrounding towns and communities!

Together, we are creating safer, more confident swimmers through high-quality swim instruction in one of Vermont’s most beautiful lake communities.

ABOUT Our Summer swim PROGRAM:

Learn to Swim at Lake Willoughby’s North Beach
There is something special about learning to swim surrounded by the natural beauty of Lake Willoughby.

Our North Beach Summer Swim Program provides children with a safe, encouraging, and engaging environment where they can build confidence, strengthen swimming skills, and develop lifelong water safety habits.

Lessons are taught by trained instructors using American Red Cross-aligned teaching practices focused on safety, progression, encouragement, and fun.

Whether your child is just getting comfortable in the water or continuing to build their swim skills, our program is designed to support swimmers at every stage.

Week of July 13-17, 2026
Lessons Times: 
Lessons will take place Monday through Friday during the scheduled times listed below.
Ages Served: 
  • ​Preschool Lessons for ages 2-4
  • ​Level 1+ for ages 5 and up
Skill-Based Group Placement: 
Swimmers enroll in our group-based swim classes according to their swimming ability.

Who Can Participate: 

Our Lake Willoughby Summer Swim Program is open to Westmore residents, taxpayers, property owners, seasonal families, members of the Westmore Association, and surrounding communities.

Swim Lesson Schedule: 

3:40 PM - 4:10 PM - Preschool Swim Lessons*
4:20 PM - 5:00 PM - Level 1 Swim Lessons
5:10 PM - 5:50 PM - Level 2 Swim Lessons
​6:00 PM - 6:40 PM - Level 3/4 Swim Lessons
​* Parent/Guardian participation is required.
Parent/Guardian Supervision Required: A parent or legal guardian must remain on-site and immediately available at all times while their swimmer is participating in lessons.
 PLEASE NOTE: The schedule may change due to enrollment.  We will communicate these changes via email as we get closer to the start of lessons. We appreciate your flexibility in advance.

Swim Program PRICING:

Westmore Property Owners & Families: Lessons are $30.00 per swimmer

Non-Property Owners/Members: $147.00 per swimmer​
Late Registration Fees (after May 31, 2026): $10.00 per swimmer​
